PHASE II: MUSCLE GROWTH

WEEKS 5 THROUGH 8

This 4-week phase features one upper and one lower body workout that will be rotated from week to week. You will still work out three times per week, but the emphasis will either be on the upper or lower body. For example, in week one you’ll complete two upper body workouts and one lower body workout, and in week two you’ll concentrate on the lower body, with two workouts.

While the ultimate goal will still be to increase overall conditioning, this phase features slightly heavier loads and longer rest intervals to stimulate muscle growth.
